For Australian tax residents, it estimates the Medicare levy including a basic low-income reduction. Some people qualify for exemptions or different family thresholds.

Does it include superannuation or HELP/HECS?

No. Employer super is generally paid on top of salary and is not deducted from take-home pay here. HELP/HECS repayments are also excluded.

Can foreign residents use it?

Yes, select foreign resident for the standard foreign-resident income-tax brackets. Working-holiday makers have separate rules and are not modelled.
